BlueSky Online School

BlueSky Online School is a public school, free to all students in grades 7 – 12 throughout Minnesota. The program offers an individualized education for each student.

BlueSky desired a space to reflect the school’s culture and to provide flexibility for in-person classes and hands-on demonstrations. The engaging open area at the school’s entrance acts as a place for students and parents to gather before, during, and after class time activities. The glass-front offices allow visual supervision of student study areas, easy access for staff collaboration, and sunlight for all to share. Staff now have an open office suite with areas to accommodate a variety of functions from board meetings to staff training.

This project was accomplished in close collaboration with Suntide Commercial Realty. Archimea completed the programming, space planning, code compliance research, and the construction drawings. Suntide selected finishes and furniture for the project and constructed the build-out.
